Upper Kalang River Flood Assessment

The study area covers the Kalang River from approximately 1750 metres upstream of Kopsen's Bridge to the confluence of Pickett Hill Creek with the Kalang River. The total length of river examined is 26.5 kilometres. The study approach involves:

  • collection of available data;
  • analysis of available data;
  • establishment of computer based hydrological and riverine hydraulic model;
  • estimation of flood levels from the computer models.
