South Grafton - Levee Local Flooding

The provision of high level protection to South Grafton would prevent the entry of floodwater to the area in all but very high floods. Low level flooding from the local catchment would not be altered by the construction of the levee. It will, however, become much more apparent, with the exclusion of river flooding.

This investigation has been carried out to determine the likely level of local flooding in South Grafton for different levee arrangements.
