Macquarie River - Floodplain Management Study - Progress Report - Phase B2

In June 2003, SKM issued a report titled. Progress Report Phase B. This report, titled, 'Progress Report B2, November 2003', covers work undertaken since issue of the June 2003 report. Copies of the correspondence can be found in the Appendices as outlined below.

The main areas of work were:

  • Discussion and preparation of memo on proposed work and cost of work to complete Phase B2 of the Floodplain Management Study
  • Preparation and presentation to the Floodplain Management Committee (FMC) Meeting in Warren on 31 July 2003, including agenda, copies of the overheads presented and minutes of the meeting (prepared by DIPNR),
  • Responding to a query raised at the FMC relating to what roughness did SKM assume in their model and how can that be measured in the field
  • Development of Hot Spot Assessment Criteria
  • Memo to Gordon Patrick relating to the proposed Environmental Important Areas (EIAs) field survey including names of the landowners to be interviewed
