Lot 100 DP Flora Crescent, Batemans Bay - Flood Study

The site is located at Lot 100 DP 1001026 Flora Crescent, Batemans Bay. An open channel flows through the site from an existing stormwater basin in the southern section of the site to a 3.0m x 1.2m box culvert on the northern boundary of the site. Flows entering this box culvert are discharged directly into the Clyde River. Flows in excess of the capacity of the culvert are discharged into the car park of the Soldiers Club and also Flora Crescent. The site is mainly grassed with a small sealed car parking area in the north western corner. The total catchment area for this site is 40.2ha.

The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of flooding characteristics on adjoining properties due to the proposed development on the subject site. The analysis shows that the proposed development will not adversely affect the adjoining properties.
