Floodplain Risk Management Study

Hillston Rural Floodplain Management Study

The document consists of 20 properties and their ecosystem, environmental value rating, practicality rating, as well as a brief overview along with images and an average score.

The environmental assessment in this report relates to floodplain ecosystems that are affected by existing flood control works. These ecosystems have been rated using a set of environmental value assessment criteria and a set of practicality criteria (to determine the practicality of modifying works). Those rated as having moderate or high environmental value and practicality will be further assessed to explore options to restore flood flow access. This assessment will involve on-site consultation and consideration of social and economic factors.
