The Gwydir Valley Annual Environmental Watering Plan 2012-13 outlines the objectives and potential actions for environmental water delivery in the Gwydir catchment for the coming water year. This plan was developed by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage, based on advice from the Gwydir Environmental Contingency Allowance Operations Advisory Committee.

The Gwydir Valley AEWP provides guidance and flexibility so that managers can be responsive to changes in water resource conditions, opportunities and environmental priorities as the season progresses.
