Flood Study Racecourse Creek, Moruya

This report contains the results of an investigation of flooding of the Princes Highway and South Head Road at Moruya, and the options available to reduce flooding. The study area for this study is part of the town of Moruya and its immediate surrounds, in the catchment of Racecourse Creek. The objectives of the study are:

  1. review the existing drainage of the Racecourse Creek system and the Moruya CBD and assess the extent of flooding of the Princes Highway and South Head Road; and
  2. develop options for reducing the extent and frequency of flooding of the Princes Highway and South Head Road and assess any Impacts on the Moruya CBO drainage.
