Exile Bay, St Lukes and William Street Flood Study

The Exile Bay, St Lukes and William Street catchments are adjacent to each other (listed west to east) that drain north into Iron Cove on the Parramatta River. The upstream catchment area is within Burwood Council LGA and the downstream catchment area is within the Canada Bay LGA; with Parramatta Road as the boundary between the two LGAs. The study area comprises of the three aforementioned catchments up to Parramatta Road, with the area downstream of Parramatta Road outside the area of interest of this study. This flood study defines the 0.2EY, 10%, 5%, 2% 1% AEP and PMF events. It has prepared provisional hydraulic and hazard category maps, emergency response classifications, flood planning levels and areas. It has also looked at the potential impacts of climate change.
