Data Comment

Flood frequency analysis was utilised for Murray River design flow estimation. Hydrologic modelling (WBNM) was used for major overland flow local runoff modelling including for Majors Creek at Howlong. Hydraulic modelling was undertaken using TUFLOW. Murray River TUFLOW model calibrated using data from the 1974, 1975, 1992, 1996, 2016 and 2022 flood events. Datasets associated with the Corowa, Howlong and Mulwala Flood Study project which have been uploaded to the NSW Flood Data Portal are as follows: Handover Notes, Final Report, Collected Data, Hydrology (includes Flood Frequency Analysis and WBNM files), GIS files, TUFLOW Model, TUFLOW Raw Results (1% AEP only) and TUFLOW Processed Results (20% AEP to PMF).
