This report documents the results of a geotechnical investigation of Coonamble Town Levee and the resulting recommendations for a program of repairs to the earthfill levee. It represents the final stage in a program of works commissioned by Coonamble Shire Council to determine the suitability of the levee for its intended purpose and the necessary scope of remediation works. The aims of the current geotechnical investigation program of the earthfill levee were:

• to undertake a complete geotechnical assessment of levee condition;
• to identify critical sections of the levee that are in urgent need of repairs;
• characterise potential borrow areas;
• to develop prioritised remedial works designs for repair/upgrade of the levee system.
