Canterbury LGA Cooks River Catchment: Final Overland Flow Study

The Cooks River Catchment study area is approximately 27 square kilometres of urbanised catchment. The study area includes Cup and Saucer Creek and Cooks River, as well as Omaha Street Branch, Orissa Street Branch and Punchbowl Road Branch. Wolli Creek runs along the southern border of the study area. The objectives of this stage of the project are to review the following:

  • Modelling of Design Events
  • Inspection of Known Flooding Problem Areas
  • Climate Change Impacts
  • Sensitivity Analysis of Flood Model Parameters
  • Information for SES
